May Hotbuys!

Hey Hey! It's Marie, I have a whole hour on the laptop before I have to go out so I decided to write a short post to keep the blog updated. London is great, Ive did soo much, I'll tell you everything when I get back. Now, onto the post..

It seems that stardoll read Gabrielle's (punkyfish2007) post on PSG about the hotbuys because they have upped the game! These hotbuys are gorgeous! It seems all the wonderful things happen when I'm gona, haa!

Overall, Im really happy with stardoll! Maybe the great hotbuys collections that we all hardly remember will be back and we'll remember this collection as the start of the great collections (I hope!) I don't have alot of time, gota go eat pizza.. haha! Miss you all.

April Hotbuys!

The April hotbuys have been realeased!

So, what has stardoll got in store for us this month ?

There's alot of different looks in this month's hotbuys. There are some subtle colours such as in the pumps and in the pink pink top. There is also some bold colors as in the bright pink top. When I look at this picture, I am suddenly drawn to the black fur jacket, I say it could work well with the right outfit, but it's a risky one, but a risk should and will be taken! I am already in love with the colourblock pumps, they're so gorgeous!

The March Hotbuys are realeased!

HIGHS:

December Hotbuys

Another month, Another selection of Hotbuys.

This month I am very pleased with the Hotbuys, they are very stylish and fun!

Stardoll has even added some designer pieces including an Alexander McQueen necklace, Miu Miu shoes, Pink Soda top and skirt, Asos clothing and jewellery and more! What do you all think of this month's Hotbuys ?

Talking about clothes, you all must have realized by now that we have two brand new stores. The amazing Philosophy and the adorable Evil Panda.

Philosophy by Alberta Feretti has some of the most beautiful designs I have ever seen and to see them here on stardoll is almost a dream! Yes, the prices may be very expensive but believe me, they are worth it! And besides, in a few months time you will probably have to pay $60 for them! Why? Simply because they are the first collection and any first collection of a RB will sell for alot of money eg. DKNY. May we forget about the store for a second and think about our new RC.. Alberta Feretti (The fashion designer for Philosophy.) Are we lucky.. or what! Haha.

Moving on to another new store.. Evil Panda. Evil Panda is full with fun and surprises. Most of the clothes are from the London Punk theme and the Tokyo theme currently on stardoll not forgetting some pieces from Agyness Deyn's wardrope! The prices are average and the store has some beautiful items!

Which store do you prefer.. Philosophy or Evil Panda ?

Hot, Hot..Hotbuys!

As you can see the new hotbuys are out, and it's looking wonderful..apart from some that are simply horrid! We can notice also that all the pieces are from the previously released hotbuys doll, which is quite predictable! Stardoll admins can#t be so stupid to create such gorgeous clothes and not use them.

My rating would be 8/10, because it contains quite chic and elegant pieces, it is fun, fresh and girly, even if some are just imitations as the hello kitty shirt!

The only dark point is those hot pink boots, they are horrid, and so unwearable!

And here's start my review of the hotbuys, that are classed by the date of release!

-Hotbuys dress: Created by Luella for the Fall 2008 RTW, this dress looks fantastic and so chic with a very feminine form, and such stunning colors, to wear with the YSL tribute shoes (black) and a black clutch.Wonderfully adorable!

-Hotbuys Gloves: Extremely cute and so racy. It could dress down a formal short dress amazingly!

-Hotbuys boots : So not chic, and the pink is too much flashy! Not for me!!

-Hotbuys Bag: Lovely in a vichy checkered pattern with golden touches, and small pockets!Cute, girly and sweet! Definitely a bag to love!

-Hotbuys Skirt: A gorgeous skirt, tartan patterned tissue and a very girly form and colors! It would be great for layering and to add some color to an outfit!

-HB coat: Created by Matthew Williamson,amazingly multicolored with small flowers enbroidered, and seems so warm and cosy! I like but not my favourite.

-HB necklace: An adorable gold necklace, with a dragonfly adorned of precious gems. A definate must have, but it depends on how they will bring it on starplaza!

-HB pumps: Amazingly hot! Created by ASos, in a multicoloured snake skin or a leather with snake prints (who knows..do you?). I like the version seen here on the Hot buys page, but not the one that we will have and that we can see on the hotbuys doll wardrobe!

-HB Eyelashes: We now even can have that! Finally, eyelashes that wouldn't make our dolls look horrid, and it has a feathered aspect!

- HB Top: Last but not least, the fake imitated version of what we thought first was a hello Kitty creation but then found out on Seen On Stardoll that it was made by Fred flare! It's hotness!

Although, i prefer the original version. It was more simple!

This was my point of vew of the new hotbuys, that are certainly hot, but not as much as the last ones! My favourite pieces are surely the luella dress and the bag!

September Hotbuys!

Yes, it's that time again.. the time the new hotbuys are realeased! The time where we all quickly go to the Fashion section of the magazine and search until we find and view these new upcoming hotbuys. And this month I must say that stardoll have done us proud! I absolutely love them.

From the Oh so chic black bow to the Fendi purse, it all looks so stylish and exciting. Stardoll has defiantly upped their game this month and we are all falling for the fashion! Personally, i think this may just be the best hotbuys we have had in a long time and i bet most of you agree. My favourite items are the Fendi purse and the Skirt. What's yours ? New Hotbuys!

Hello everyone. Yes, the new hotbuys are out and guess what? The Stardoll staff have woken up! They have defiantly improved from the last few months and i really like them.

My Favourites:

I really like the dresses this month. The black bow dress is so cute and petite yet chic! I bet it will be great for layering and looks perfect for a cocktail party with friends. The longer black dress is so creative and fun. I will be defiantly buying it, personally i think it looks fab!

My least favorites:

The shade of the hair dye really let me down this month, but i must say it is alot better than last month's.

Overall Review:

Overall i really like the hotbuys this month. They have defiantly improved from last month, don't you think? But they can be alot better. A little more work from the stardoll staff could improve the hotbuys even more.

I guessed..

Correctly! Yes, as you may know from my previous post on hotbuys i guessed that the black bow dress would be knee length with a bow at the top which is correct. Also i said that the black/white bag would be circular... i guess correctly. Ah, i'm so proud haha.

Designer.

In this month's hotbuys stardoll put in alot of designer items. Did they do this so more people would buy it due to the big failure last month? A YSL jacket, Chloe shoes and a Burberry Prorsum necklace.

New Hotbuys Coming Soon!

I logged on stardoll this morning when i decided to look at the new interface a bit better so i scrolled down and i saw a new poll. I looked at it and it said What is your favourite Hotbuys item? When i saw this i quickly went to the voice, clicked on shop news and seen... the same hotbuys as last time! I went back to the poll to make sure i wasn't seeing things.. it was still there. Maybe Callie published the poll before it should have been published? I'm not too sure, but look at the sneak-peek we have on the poll..

Black Bow Dress - Sounds very nice in my opinion. Im thinking of a black knee length dress with a big bow at the front, maybe i'm right, maybe i'm wrong.

Black/White Bag - Emm, Im not sure what I'm thinking of for this. It could be any black/white bag haha. I think it will be in a circular shape for some reason.

The other poll section is blank.

I'm really excited for these hotbuys, but confused in a way haha. Hopefully stardoll staff have woken up and seen the ''hot'' buys they have been providing us with and said, ''What have we done to these innocent people?'' Hopefully these hotbuys will make us want to buy them like they used to. BUT We should'nt get too excited, they could turn out to be horrible.

I'll be posting a review on the new hotbuys when they come out and we'll see it my guesses on the black bow dress and black/white bag are correct.
