Marie & Michelle - ELLE New Collection Review

Hello, lovley readers! You missed me? I hope you havnt. Missing people isnt fun at all!

Anyway, today i logged on and like i always do, i went to windows shopping at the Starplaza to see if Stardoll released any of their new usuall shit. I was suprised (i wasnt realy suprised, i already saw everything on blogs! lol) to see the new ELLE brand collection. After i tried all the clothes, and decided what i like and what i hate, i was thinking that i can post my review about them!

Personally, im a bit disappointed of the new collection. Some of the clothes are gorgeous (my picks), but most of the collection is just plain and boring. The colours of the low points reminds me a bit of the childish Stuff By Hilary Duff/ Mary Kate And Ashley old brand that i always hated, and that (luckily) dont have any new collections on Stardoll.

This necklace is absoloutly beautiful! It looks so sophisticated... It can upgrade your elegant evening dress, and it can also take your everyday casual Jeans+Tee+Jacket/Blazer to a brand new level! Im totally going to buy it, but what about you?

UPDATE: Hey, It's Marie! I had planned a ELLE post too but Michelle beat me to it so here's just a quick review of my own.

Above is the new collection which has some really cute pieces! My personal favs are the jackets. They are gorge. Dont you agree ?

I like most of the collection but I'll only be buying my favourites. The ruffled dress is adorable and I love the jewellery especially the necklace Michelle pointed out. As I said before, the jackets are gorgeous and for some reason, I love the shorts! Overall, I like this collection but I also agree with Michelle on the way she says it remind her of the MKA & HD collections.

Here is a quick outfit I made with Michelle's low point and my high point of the collection to make a hot point, haha!

Well, Hello Paulina!

Above is the fierce Mel (Bluegreen86) with the equally fierce, Paulina Porizkova! WAIT, Why is Paulina in Mel's suite ? She most have got lost on her way to her suite or something but however she got there, she looks great!

Mel has created an amazing Runway room and an even amazing-er Paulina Porizkova! She's used a magazine, a wig, clothes, accesories, a cute doggy and soo much more. GENIUS! As soon as I saw this, I couldn't let it fly past me, I had to tell someone, Lol!

Apart from the brilliant suite and Miss Porizkova, Mel has an adorable outfit and a beautiful medoll aswel as the sweetest personality. She also owns the popular club MelsModels which I reccommend to all stardoll members who love fashion, modelling and/or photography!

Mel works so hard on her account and currently is trying to become covergirl and I think this post is enough to prove that she deserves it.. let alone all the other things she has worked on. Join team VOTE MEL, Lol!

Spring 2009 trends

Hello fashion lovers!

Like i promised, today im going to write a post about the hottest trends for spring 2009. Unfortunately, i dont have alot of time and im pretty tired, so i just picked 3 trends, and from each trend i picked my favorite runway looks. Credit to Style.com! Happy Birthday, Barbie! What a doll she is too.

Miss Barbie, herself has recently turned 50 and celebrations have occured, even on stardoll!

REAL LIFE:

Barbie has hit the Runway in some of her most memorable outfits in New York fashion week to celebrate her big 5-0! The outfits are so adorable and as you can see, the Fashion show went amazingly. (For Barbie's sake, I even created a ''kind of'' graphic in the picture above, LOL!)

STARDOLL:

Stardoll has celebrated Barbie's Birthday by a video dedicated to the dollface, herself and when you watch it you get this adorable dress!

Barbie may not be 'your thing' but whoever you are, you have to admit, Barbie has made Fashion history and will be continue to be fabulous and be remembered in History for a long time!

I wont write much information about me, i will just say that im a fashion freak and a music addict!

DKNY Vs...DKNY!?..The Dilemma

In a desire of taking a moment to discover new fashion shows and admire the magnificence of some collection, I ran towards Style.com the ultimate website,if you're aiming to a similar aim. So as, i arrived there, an appealing title catched my attention, "match play DKNY's polished spin", behind this title,and the link it directs to,i discovered a mind blowing collection, a set of womanly forms, cuts and colors , composed of suits,jackets and dresses that makes the eyes and mind believe in a vision of the 30's and 40's style, mixed with our era's fashion values, giving an astonishing touch to this collection.

But yet, i did not express my point.

As we all know and noticed, a few days or weeks ago,the DKNY collection intended to be for the stardollians was released. Poor, effortless and certainly not worth the long months, that we all waited guessing, predicting and wondering how fabulous this collection would be. It certainly have some interesting pieces, but even with those, the "cheap" aspect of the collection ain't be obliterated.

The last DKNY collections released on stardoll, were certainly a victim of a bad choice or a horrible taste, letting the stunning outfits and outstanding garments apart,and making a poor stardollian version, that includes the ones that are not of any interest.

Where are the collections,that conquered the heart of million of girls(and boys) of our society?where are those amazing details, and wonderful patterns?...Gone..Baby...Gone!

Are you still expecting any good from this brand? Is there yet, any place in our heart for DKNY with all the other successful real brands as VT or the amazing Philosophy Di Alberta Ferretti?Could we hope for an astonishing comeback to Stardoll?

Who Said It Was The End ?

As Magazines kept shutting down and leaving stardoll, we all thought there was no hope for stardoll Magazines. Then, when Eternity/Edge Magazine left the Magazine business we were almost positive that the Stardoll Magazine stage was gone for good. But now, something great has happened.. Tons of brand new magazines are starting to pile up every day!

TEENstyle

As you all know TEENstyle realeased their Romance Issue yesterday with help by the lovely Kasia (Undamyumbrellla) and it was a great issue. As you can see, the cover is perfectly adorable, girly and mega cute! The covergirls Lou and Keisha looked amazing! My favourite article was, ''Playing Cupid, By Kasia Font.'' which was so much fun to read. My favourite photoshoot was Gabrielle's and Rhiann's party shoot, they both looked amazing.

HIGH POINTS: The mind-blowing Graphics, Playing Cupid - Article & Gabrielle&Rhianns photoshoot.

WEAK POINTS:

I loved this issue, probably my favourite of all TEENstyle's issue, I did think it was quite short but other than that, No week points at all!

Sprinkle Magazine

Yesterday was a day to be remember with Teenstyle and Sprinkle being realeased on the same day, aswel as it being V-day and all! Sprinkle's first issue (Owned my Hunnigall and Mik-Ma) was realeased yesterday and Wow, I was impressed. The graphics are so unique and perfectly made, the articles are well written and the covergirl is beautiful! The overall magazine is perfect and I am an instant fan!

HIGH POINTS:

The amazing and unique graphics, Covergirl photoshoot & Wedges - Article.

WEAK POINTS:

I loved this issue so much especially the graphics so I wish there was an extra photoshoot, that's my only wish! Other than that, The magazine had an amazing first issue!

As you know, Dora has finished Splash Magazine and has started a brand new magazine with me! I am so excited as this is the first magazine I have ever ran so it's going to be so much fun. The above spoiler isn't a definate look of the cover just a little peek into what it may look like.

My hopes for EXIT is that, I hope you all enjoy it! Our Magazine won't be the same as others, we will be featuring people with real style, edgy style, creative people, people who deserve it.

Dainty Magazine has already published it's first issue but the second issue is said to be bigger and better than ever and I am so excited to see what Hrissi & Fay bring us. The whole theme is 'Going Green!'

I'm really excited for Royal Magazine as the spoiler they provided me with seems to be so much more different than others. ALSO.. It says January 31st but it has been delayed to Febuary 31st.

Happy V-Day!

Hey everyone! Valentines Day is here (yay) and stardoll is filled with beautiful outfits, new clothing in the starplaza and free lipstick! While looking around stardoll, I found some mega cute Valentines outfits which I would like to share with you all:

Arna-Rut

I love Arna's Valentines outfit. It looks romantic, cute and stylish. I love the rose, it adds that Tango touch and I also love the way that she decorated a whole room just for Valentine's day. I also love the Limited Edition sunnies which add the fierceness to the outfit.

Writemarycat

Mary looks adorable with her candy lip earrings and soft pink sunnies. The clutch, shoes and bangles complete the outfit. Overall, the outfit has a Wild, daring side yet a sweet and soft side. I like it!

Woman-in-White

Hrissi has a casual glam look with this outfit which totally suits her. The outfit is a simple outfit completed with the MK&A white fur, clutch, necklace and earrings. Hrissi also created a whole room just for Valentines which is absolutely gorgeous! Overall, I love the whole look and it is one of my favs :)

Balenciaga

Chloe looks mega gorgeous in this outfit. I love the way she used the soft pink LE top with the fierce, black leggings and cheetah heels. I also love the way she used gold accesories. Chloe is always showing me new, gorgeous outfits and this is one of my favs :)

N1mka4eva

This is probably my favourite Valentines outfit from the list. It's super hot and stylish sweet all in one and she looks amazing. I love the red and white mix and as I said with Arna's outfit.. the LE sunnies add that extra touch to the outfit. I love this outfit so much! :)
